First of all I want to introduce the "firearms demonstration videos". I don´t really get the appeal of that although I am someone who can get easily fascinated with boom and bang, but you have to be in the sport or pretty guncrazy to enjoy continued shooting from the same location and. Also after the 7th variation a machine gun hammering plastic bottles I don´t know what still keeps me watching this^^
In the video Richard Ryan (also member of Totally Sketch) introduces other Youtube shooters (FPS Russia eg just to mention him and his fitting Russian accent).
Interesting at the is that he mentions having two jobs to finance his videos, so the payout doesn´t seem enough to finance a hobby like this.

This is amazing. I´ve seen the this kind of finger dancing as elements in modern breakdance e.g. at TED (6:04), but paired with this kind of high end animation the coolness multiplies by 100.
This is what I mean when I say "We need content which works because it only works on the internet". In no other medium you could put together different artistic elements so easily and although the animation nor the performance is easy it looks sooth and stylish.

One way of creating interesting content is imo spoofing or trolling.
Creating content which is outrageous or just hilarious when taken at face value can create high view counts through provoked attention. Examples are Lonelygirl15 or the "Gingers have no souls" video based on the corresponding Southpark episode.
The problem of course is that you can´t do troll videos on a regular basis, because once you established some videos everyone will know you as a "professional troll" and your credibility is gone.

But having a troll video in your content here and there can gain you a lot of attention, be it positive or negative.

She is interesting because although having starred in multiple sketches ads and doing modeling she is just now starting her Youtube appearance.
